    Surrounded by an overwhelming number of world-class beauty spas and clinics in Dubai, it takes a while to source one to fully trust. I tend to focus on doctors and therapists because for me, people are more important than the façade. My recent endeavour to find a skilled dermatologist while my usual doctor was out of the country led me to Al Wasel’s hidden gem, LaVie clinic.With public parking just outside the door, LaVie clinic surprises with lovely quietness and elegance. A spacious sitting room offers comfortable chairs, chilled water and friendly front desk service. I was greeted with a cup of tea to keep me motivated through filling the introduction form.My doctor, Dr. Wessam Hawaz didn’t keep me waiting like other places I visited, he was ready for me. My consultation probably lasted longer than the suggested procedure. Equipped with a mirror in one hand and a phone in another, I discussed my face and latest treatments with Dr. Wessam, because in science I trust.Dr. Wessam suggested a minimal approach to corrections in appearance, suggesting Botox for the upper face and simple lifting fillers for the lower, supporting his opinion by study, research and experience. I left the clinic feeling better and looking fresher straight away.Good news: they are open on Friday

    Dr. Alka is very skilled and experienced dentist who helped resolve my dental problems very efficiently.     Artists clinic: The first time I went to Dr. Ali Ghandour, I was full, and I did a challenge with him because I was afraid when he said he would care about 10 needles.
